Sogrape leads the OIV Consortium for R&D in the wine sector

The International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV), the benchmark intergovernmental institution for the global wine sector,invited Sogrape to set up an international consortium to promote and support the organization's technical and scientific dissemination. Apart from Sogrape, the other top grape and wine companies are Viña Concha y Toro (Chile), Moët Hennessy (France), Familia Torres (Spain), and Yalumba Family Winemakers (Australia). Sogrape will chair the consortium for the first two years!

This initiative aims to stimulate an exciting dialogue between leading wine companies to identify global R&D opportunities and priorities in the New and Old World.

This is another step forward in Sogrape's commitment to support the promotion and dissemination of scientific knowledge and contribute to the development of the wine sector worldwide.
