Sogrape subscribes to Business for Nature's Call to Action

As part of its strategy to ensure the sustainable development of its business, Sogrape subscribed to the “Call to Action” of Business for Nature in 2020. This important commitment positions it as the only Portuguese wine company among the more than 500 signatories of this global coalition which brings together influential organisations and visionary companies.

This Call to Action is the first major movement to unite internationally renowned companies to call attention to the world’s governments on the need for policies to reverse Nature degradation and the loss of diversity in this decade. The initiative comes in the wake of several recent widespread appeals from humanitarian organisations for conservation and development, religious groups, cities, indigenous peoples and youth groups who aspire to specific action on behalf of nature to protect human health and the planet.
