July is Dona Antónia’s month. Following the announcement of the winners of the latest edition of the Dona Antónia Awards, which recognize Portuguese women whose achievements reflect the values of Ferreirinha, Casa Ferreirinha now marks the anniversary of the woman who shaped the history of the Douro with the release of the new vintage of Antónia Adelaide Ferreira DOC Douro Red. Produced in a limited edition of 4,196 numbered bottles, the 2022 vintage continues the tribute that the brand has paid to her since 2011.

Isabel Capeloa Gil and Nelma Serpa Pinto are the winners of the 38th edition of the Dona Antónia Awards, an initiative created in 1988 by the descendants of Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and Sogrape to recognise Portuguese women who stand out for their achievements, talent and contribution to society.
