Mundus Vini Spring Tasting: Gold to Mélange à 3

In the 26th edition of the Grand International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI, where more than 7,500 wines from all over the world were tasted, Carvalhais Mélange à 3 received an enormous and important recognition, when it was awarded a gold medal.

Based on an innovative and dynamic concept, Mélange à 3 is a wine that explores a new interpretation of the ideal mix (mélange) of 3 elements in each edition. In the launching harvest, the three grape varieties that are at the base of the wine – Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Alfrocheiro – are the stars of this novelty from the Dão, creating a fine and uncomplicated wine. Touriga Nacional brings the aromatic intensity, while Tinta Roriz gives it a mouth structure, which is complemented by the elegance and complexity of Alfrocheiro.
