Sandeman has a taste for success
The world’s eyes are once again fixed on Sandeman Port Wines due to the latest series of accolades achieved in several prestigious wine competitions.
From Europe to the United States, these awards continue to prove that Port Wine is fluent in so many languages. This exquisite liquid, derived from unique and distinguished grapes, attests to the claim that excellence, flavour, knowledge, and expertise possess no boundaries nor borders.
The outstanding results speak for themselves: At Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Sandeman Porto Late Bottled Vintage 2015 was awarded a Gold Medal, demonstrating an exceptional appreciation for unfiltered, bottled wine. Furthermore, Sandeman Porto Tawny 20 Years and Sandeman Porto Tawny Imperial Reserve were distinguished with Silver Medals.
Traveling to the UK, Sandeman attained awards in two distinct and esteemed international competitions: The International Wine & Spirit Competition and the Decanter World Wine Awards.
At the former, Sandeman Porto Tawny 30 Years attained distinction by receiving a Gold Medal and Sandeman Porto Tawny 40 Years secured the Silver, suggesting that the ageing process not only amplifies the taste, but also the results! At the latter, Sandeman Porto Tawny 20 Years obtained a Silver Medal, while Sandeman Porto Tawny 30 Years and Sandeman Porto Tawny 40 Years attained Gold Medals.
As fortune favours the bold, Sandeman was further acclaimed for Sandeman Porto Vintage 2018, scoring 96 and 95 remarkable points from Wine Enthusiast and e-Robert Parker respectively and 95 points from Decanter. These awards and ratings are undeniably ascribable to Sandeman’s impeccable wine quality and attributes.
