TOP COVID shortlisted in Just Drinks Excellence Awards 2021

Sogrape has joined forces with the University of Aveiro to develop the TOP COVID project, a kit for training olfactory deviations aimed, in particular, at patients affected by Covid-19.

The TOP COVID kit - Patient Olfactory Training - consists of five aroma discs created from 100% vegetable raw materials with no preservatives, such as rosemary powder, tangerine peel with Baga, Touriga Nacional with fennel, ginger with Baga and oregano.

Sogrape, as a partner in the project, contributed all its know-how in the analysis of aromas, as well as supplying the vegetable elements that make up the kit, highlighting a variety present in many Portuguese wines: Touriga Nacional, from its properties in the Douro region.

Now TOP COVID is among the Just Drinks Excellence Awards 2021 finalists in the "Covid-19 Response" category.

The winners will be announced in November at www.just-drinks.com.
