Framingham & NZ Music Helps – For the now, the new and the next

Framingham & NZ Music Helps – For the now, the new and the next - The Framingham Foundation of Sound is joining up with NZ Music Helps to change lives through music.

Framingham’s Foundation of Sound is all about sharing the love of music and showing support for the local music community. It’s backing our up and coming artists and local musicians by creating events like the annual Harvest Concert and great places like Framingham Underground, originally a wine cellar and now a great creative space that’s home to pop up gigs and a great band room for local musicians to get together and play. Framingham has also got in behind a range of music happenings like the Neil and Liam Finn’s very fun ‘Where’s my Room’ tour, Cross-Street Festival, lockdown casts as well as music industry very own ‘The Phoenix Summit’.

Framingham has been a big supporter of the New Zealand music industry for over 10 years now and it means a lot - it’s the thing that helps the winemaking and creating.

So, in times like these, when it’s never been tougher for kiwis to keep making music and stay working in the music industry, it’s time to help those who are helping our music community.

Music Helps is a unique charity that’s dedicated to changing lives through music. They make a massive difference and Framingham want to help them back.

Right now, Music Helps is doing a lot of good throughout New Zealand, helping our industry at every level with financial help, personal support and advice to keep our community up and keep everyone going. It’s an action-based charity that gets stuck in where it matters most, involved in local community projects, helping the musicians make and play to the people who make it happen, whether it’s the small venues or the back- up crew. When you can’t get to play, you need all the help you can get.

So, the Framingham Foundation for Sound is doing its bit starting with a financial donation from every bottle sold going to the charity. Every dollar helps and working with Music Helps will raise awareness of the cause.

There’s a film that’s been put together to tell the partnership story and bring home how important New Zealand music is to all kiwis – it even includes some of Framingham’s own home-made jams.

This is just the start. The Framingham Foundation of Sound is focused on building on the new partnership and doing more for our music community, with more gigs and more community events that will soon (everyone hopes) give artists the chance to get together and play.

Music Helps with the Framingham Foundation of Sound to keep music live, loud and proud! And we’re all for that.
