Sogrape is reopening its Wine Tourism venues

Starting from June, Sandeman Cellars and Quinta do Seixo are reopening their wine tourism venues with "Clean & Safe" certification, by meeting every condition and measure required by the National Health Authorities and Turismo de Portugal. Together with the Internal Committee for Safety and Crisis, Sogrape has created its Internal Wine Tourism Protocol - a set of guidelines to implement during reopening to protect the safety and health of everyone involved.

The number of visitors in both venues that are now reopening is limited to 10 per group/visit in order to insure that social distancing is maintained during the entire circuit, which both venues facilitate due to their wide dimensions. At Quinta do Seixo, visiting circuits will also be adapted to promote exterior spaces and contact with nature. The use of mask is mandatory for everyone. If necessary, there are free masks available for visitors.

As for wine tastings and pairings, those are restricted according to the new safety standards. With the aCarta app, visitors can check information about tastings and prices in digital format, through a QRCode scan.

The reopening of Sandeman Cellars and Quinta do Seixo is also bringing new features for the summer months, with activities for the whole family and those interested in exploring the universe of Port Wine: free entrance on Sunday mornings, special programmes for families and educational programmes.
