Sogrape Wine Academy and Porto Business School Launch a New Program for Wine Enthusiasts

The Sogrape Wine Academy has partnered with the Porto Business School to launch the Porto WineXAcademy, an intensive five-day program dedicated to Portuguese wine heritage and its future.

The first edition of this program, which will take place from September 29 to October 5, 2024, will be an immersive educational and cultural experience, including visits to iconic sites in Porto and the Douro Wine Region, such as S. Bento Station and Lello Bookstore in Porto, the Ferreira Cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, and Quinta do Seixo in the Douro.

Aimed at wine enthusiasts, the Porto WineXAcademy offers a unique opportunity to deepen knowledge about Portuguese wine history and grape varieties, explore sustainable and innovative practices, and participate in hands-on masterclasses where participants can create their own wine blend.

Throughout the five days of the program, participants will have the opportunity to stay at The Lodge Hotel and spend a night in the Douro. At the end, they will receive a certificate recognizing the skills and competencies acquired.
