Sogrape presents its 2025 Sustainability Report

Sogrape presents its 2025 Sustainability Report

We are pleased to share the third consolidated edition of Sogrape’s Sustainability Report, covering the year 2025. The report reflects the progress achieved through our Global Sustainability Approach – Seed the Future – and our continued commitment to creating a positive impact for the planet, our people and the communities where we operate.

Throughout 2025, we continued to accelerate our sustainability journey, strengthening our climate action efforts, improving resource efficiency, fostering innovation, and supporting more resilient winegrowing practices. Our progress was also recognised internationally, with Sogrape receiving the Best Logistics and Supply Chain Green Initiative award at the Drinks Business Green Awards for the second consecutive year.

Key results achieved throughout the year include:

  • A 13.2% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in Portugal and 11.6% in Spain;
  • A 40.5% reduction in specific water consumption, from 21.9 litres to 13 per 750 ml bottle;
  • 66.6% of electricity consumed in Portugal sourced from renewable energy;
  • 97.6% of waste recovered in Portugal through recycling and recovery initiatives;
  • 38 Research & Development projects carried out with more than 200 partners to help build a more resilient wine sector;
  • More than 20 social impact initiatives supported across culture, education and local communities.

"The 2025 Sustainability Report shows that we are getting closer to the goals we have set, while reinforcing that sustainability is an ongoing commitment. We inherited a legacy that we have the responsibility to preserve and strengthen, so that we can pass it on to future generations in an even more resilient, innovative, and sustainable way." - Mafalda Guedes, Head Of Corporate Communications and Sustainability and 4th Generation of the founding family
