Sogrape's Global Sustainability Approach Distinguished in the IRGAwards
Sogrape's Global Sustainability Approach was distinguished in the 34th edition of the Investor Relations & Governance Awards that Deloitte awards every year.
Sogrape is among the winners of the IRGAwards 2022 in the 'Sustainability Initiative Award' category, which recognises ideas that have had a significant impact on improving corporate or market governance conditions, given the responsibility for social and environmental implications of business activity. Raquel Seabra, Sogrape's Executive Board Member responsible for Sustainability, said, "It is with great satisfaction and pride that Sogrape receives this important award, which distinguishes our strategy in Sustainability and our contribution to building a more inclusive and sustainable future".
Actively contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Sogrape expands its business while being a catalyst for positive social change and respecting the planet’s limits. Sogrape's Global Sustainability Approach, launched in 2021, is structured around three pillars, with a series of commitments and targets that guide the company's activity: Paving the way for a healthier planet; Safeguarding the legacy on its journey into the future and Inspiring happier and more responsible lives.

Deloitte has been running the IRGAwards for more than 30 years. They recognise people and organisations contributing the most to making capital markets more efficient, transparent, socially responsible, and useful to the Portuguese economy and society.
