Diogo Sepúlveda: Head of Winemaking Mateus, Verdes, Dão & Lisbon

Diogo Sepúlveda will be the new Head of Winemaking Mateus, Verdes, Dão and Lisbon as of 1 January 2022, when he will join the Sogrape Family to lead the production of wines in these four regions.

Sepúlveda has a degree in agricultural engineering from the Technical University of Lisbon and an MBA in Business Management from the Lisbon School of Economics & Management. He will take over the Mateus, Verdes, Dão and Lisbon Winemaking Departments at the beginning of next year, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (Miguel Pessanha).

He has more than 15 years of knowledge of the sector as his professional career includes international experiences in the USA, Australia and France, and wine companies such as Casa de Vila Verde and, more recently, Casa Santos Lima, where he developed a successful career that went through several functional areas, being currently the maximum responsible for Winemaking and Supply Chain.
