Quinta do Seixo offers special Harvest Program
Quinta do Seixo has designed a unique program for the harvest season, which includes grape harvesting and grape stomping in wine presses. Visitors will also have the opportunity to get a close look at the winery and enjoy a harvest lunch at the restaurant SEIXO - By Vasco Coelho Santos, specially prepared for this occasion.
On September 19th and 27th, as well as on October 4th, Quinta do Seixo is providing an experience entirely dedicated to the harvest. The program includes a vineyard tour and grape harvesting, followed by a comprehensive visit to the winery and the opportunity to experience grape stomping in the traditional granite wine presses.
After this stage, there are two special tastings scheduled — one for grape varieties sourced from the Douro, and another for Sandeman Port Wines, before a wonderful lunch at the restaurant SEIXO - By Vasco Coelho Santos, featuring a special harvest menu and live music to brighten up the day. Reservations can be made by emailing email@example.com and groups are limited to a maximum of 25 participants to ensure everyone can fully enjoy the designed program.

Recently, Quinta do Seixo was recognized in the World's Best Vineyards 2023’s top 50, a ranking of the best wine tourism experiences worldwide, voted on by approximately 500 wine enthusiasts, including press, sommeliers, and luxury tourism correspondents. Open to the public since 2007, it is one of the most impressive estates in the Douro region, offering a breathtaking view over the valley and the river from which it borrows its name.
