Sandeman Stage brings music to Quinta do Seixo with a live performance by Janeiro and Salvador Sobral
Sandeman Stage is returning to the Douro with live music to enjoy in a sublime scenery. On 17 September, around 6.30 pm, Quinta do Seixo will hold a concert by Janeiro — an artist that merges his roots in Portuguese music with jazz and bossa nova — with a special guest: Salvador Sobral, one of the most acclaimed Portuguese artists.
This initiative will be held in a privileged venue — Sandeman’s iconic estate in the Douro, between the city of Régua and the town of Pinhão, with a dazzling view over the Douro as background and a landscape surrounded by ancient vines and the region’s iconic light.
But there is more beyond music. Before the concert, it will be possible to partake in a guided tour around Quinta do Seixo to explore the winery and taste the Sandeman wines. Closing out the program, a dinner at the new restaurant SEIXO by Vasco Coelho Santos.
The event is intended to provide an ever-growing connexion between unique and memorable experiences and Port Wine, thus marking yet another initiative towards promoting the brand’s relationship with the world of music and arts.
Besides the Douro edition, Sandeman Stage will also be extended to Gaia: The George Gastro & Cocktail Bar’s terrace, in front of the Sandeman Cellars, will welcome on every Saturday in September, from 6 pm, performances by Portuguese artists, including Janeiro (3rd), Pimenta Caseira (10th), Patrícia Costa (17th) and Soluna (24th).
