Domaine Evremond enters the Portuguese market through Sogrape Distribuição, marking a historic moment in the world of wine: the first time a prestigious Champagne Maison has invested in the production of sparkling wines on British soil. This addition to the distributor’s portfolio reinforces its commitment to offering premium, authentic brands of international reference.
Located in Chilham, in the heart of Kent, Domaine Evremond is the result of a shared vision between Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger and Patrick McGrath MW. Together, they identified in the terroir of southern England — morphologically identical to that of Champagne — the ideal conditions for producing exceptional wines.

Domaine Evremond Classic Cuvée – First Edition, crafted under the expertise of Alexandre Ponnavoy, Taittinger’s Chef de Cave, now arrives in Portugal with a blend of 55% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier. The wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation and rests on lees for over three years prior to disgorgement, resulting in an innovative expression firmly rooted in authenticity.
Aligned with a contemporary vision of excellence, the project demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability, holding SWGB (Sustainable Wines of Great Britain) certification. It also features a state of the art winery, built largely underground to protect the wine and preserve the surrounding landscape.
Domaine Evremond will soon be available in leading restaurants, specialist wine merchants and selected retail outlets, with exclusive distribution by Sogrape Distribuição.
