Trinca Bolotas is the official wine at the Chefs on Fire festival
The festival that gathers the best Portuguese chefs and challenges them to cook using only fire is returning on 18 and 19 September at FIARTIL, in Cascais, with Trinca Bolotas as partner. Throughout the two-day event, the wines from Herdade do Peso will bring the authenticity, heat and aromas of its Alentejo roots to young, urban and cosmopolitan consumers who are looking for innovative experiences and events with guaranteed quality.
With a strong bond to its essence and respect for nature, Trinca Bolotas will combine with exclusive dishes featured by 14 chefs in a unique festival in Portugal that celebrates the origins of cooking, slow cooking, and the earthier side of gastronomy. This partnership will last two years, thus ensuring the brand's presence at the festival's 4th edition.
At this year's 3rd edition, Chefs on Fire will take place over two days for the first time. On each day, seven chefs will each cook a meat or fish dish and a vegetarian dish in the fire pit, using the best local produce. On 18 September, the chefs Diogo Noronha, Gil Fernandes, Hugo Candeias, Marlene Vieira, Miguel Laffan, Rodrigo Castelo and Telmo Moutinho will take centre stage. On 19 September, it will be the turn of Alexandre Silva, António Galapito, Carlos Afonso, Diogo Lopes, Luís Gaspar, Michele Marques and Vítor Adão.
The festival also has a programme of music featuring ten Portuguese artists, including Dino Santiago, Legendary Tiger Man, Clã,and Samuel Úria.
